What Is Red Robot? Inside Our AI, Crypto and Tech Newsroom

If you have just landed on Red Robot for the first time, here is the short version of who we are and what we cover.

Red Robot is an independent news and analysis site focused on the technologies reshaping how the world works: artificial intelligence, robotics, crypto and blockchain, and the broader business of tech. We have been publishing since December 2023, and in the time since we have grown into a daily destination read by more than 100,000 people a month, from virtually every region of the world.

What we actually write about. Our main content falls into a few clear lanes. The first is fast, fact-grounded news: concise rewrites of the day’s most important developments in AI and crypto, from model launches and funding rounds to regulation, security incidents and major corporate moves. The second is our Hot Topic analysis, longer pieces that connect several stories into a single picture and explain why a trend matters rather than simply noting that it happened. Across both, the throughline is the same: AI and automation, the money and infrastructure behind them, and the companies, builders and policies steering where they go next.

Recent coverage gives a sense of the range, from the economics of the AI data-center buildout and stablecoins moving into mainstream payments, to Ethereum’s protocol roadmap, hardware-wallet security, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robotics, and the wave of AI-native products changing how software gets built and sold.

How we work. We aim for plain English over jargon, accuracy over hype, and brevity over padding. Every news piece is grounded in primary reporting and attributes the original source; our analysis is built on stories we have actually read, not speculation. The goal is simple: give a technical and industry-minded audience a reliable, quick read on a field that moves faster than almost any other.

That mix, daily signal plus the occasional deeper look, is what has kept readers coming back since 2023. Thanks for being one of them.
