Recent Pixel 8 updates unlocked Gemini-powered photo editing tools like Magic Editor without subscription requirements. Since October 3, business-tier Workspace users have accessed real-time meeting transcriptions in Google Meet powered by Gemini’s speech recognition.
Regulatory Pressure Mounts
These developments emerge as the European Union’s AI Act implementation deadline approaches. The legislation imposes strict requirements for enterprise AI systems handling sensitive data.
